The Story

ANODE emerged from a period of transition, a search for truth, and a longing for a deeper connection with both body and earth.

In botany, a node marks the spot where new leaves, branches, or roots grow—a vital point of renewal and expansion. For me, this represents the essence of ANODE: a pivotal moment in my journey, where new growth took shape and guided me toward my true path.

This is where the return begins—back to a place of peace, balance, and a state of remembrance, where our bodies naturally seek harmony with the earth.

Our Ethos

  • We prioritize people and quality above all else. When sourcing ingredients beyond our own garden, we partner exclusively with small, regenerative-focused farms within the United States. This approach ensures full transparency in the origin of our herbs and allows us to maintain close relationships with our growers, staying informed about their sustainable farming practices.

ALL of our ingredients are either 100% USDA organic, or wildcrafted from local areas, including homegrown, organic, pesticide free gardens and landscapes.

  • We are a small, Central Florida-based business dedicated to the art of handcrafting our products with care and intention. By staying closely involved in every step of the process, we ensure that each creation is infused with purpose and mindful attention. This hands-on approach reflects our deep commitment to the integrity of our craft and the quality of the medicine we offer.

  • We embody the principle of balance and alignment between nature, the body, and the production process. By emphasizing harmony, our business prioritizes sustainable practices, mindful harvesting, and creating products that work in concert with the earth’s cycles and human wellness. This approach nurtures both the planet and those who use the products, fostering a holistic sense of well-being.

Meet founder, Elise.

Elise is an herbalist, artisan and Reiki practitioner whose lifelong passion for the natural world and the well-being of others has always guided her. Though her path to herbalism was not always linear, she was consistently drawn to nature and alternative modalities, particularly during her own periods of deep healing.

As her knowledge grew through research and study, family and friends increasingly sought her guidance in exploring alternative methods for their own health and wellness.

The turning point came when her mother was diagnosed with MS, making her commitment to herbalism undeniable. Soon after, Elise left her career as a professor and choreographer in the performing arts to dedicate herself fully to the study and cultivation of herbs, moving to a place where she could live and work with them year-round.

In recent years, Elise has both formally and informally deepened her lifelong expertise and education in herbalism through various institutions in Florida, including studying under master herbalist Rose Kalajian at The Natural Health Hut and at the Florida School of Holistic Living.

Now rooted in Central Florida, Elise is devoted to providing her community with natural remedies that nourish the mind, body, and spirit from the inside out. Her offerings are inspired by her own healing experiences and the needs of those around her. As a new mother of twins, she has developed a special passion for supporting women and children as they navigate the world together.
